One of the better card battlers out there. If you like Solforge, give it a try. Could use an option for faster animations or animation skip.

Cool take on a card game but can be aggravating when zombies get good rolls and your not getting the cards you need or have the ap to get you out of trouble. Overall a great app though

Fun for spare 5 minutes. Would like a mute option to play music. Keeps evolving but the rock paper shotgun aspect keeps me playin. Game keeps getting better with new cards and enemies.

This card game starts slow in order to get people used to the mechanics and once the first 4 duels are complete then the game really takes off and becomes very customizable. Once you read through the card tutorial you will understand the entire game and then should set the zombies turn to fast forward in the settings so the games dont drag on. The interface is geared towards an iPhone 5 and although it is playable on iPad, the iPad 2 resolution makes everything almost unreadable, i can only assume the iPad with retina display would be okay, heres hoping that a universal version with full iPad support comes soon enough. I fully expect it to with 3 updates in only 2 months!

This is a very clever, and very thematic solitaire card game that is hampered by an unrefined interface. Using your expanding deck of cards to play through the story missions is exciting, as is "scavenging" new cards after every win. Theres probably a dozen different types of zombies with neat special abilities, as well as mutation cards that make them even more dangerous. Youll mostly use guns (despite being set in the UK!) to fight, and each weapon has its own niche (except the rare cards which arent worth their cost). On the downside, the AI doesnt have a strategy, and just plays by simple board game style rules. It draws a hand of zombie cards, and rolls a die for each card and plays it if it rolled high enough (better zombies require better rolls). You even get to see the zombies hand of cards, so theres no surprises. After you finish the (fairly short) story missions and build a strong deck, all you can do is play against random zombie decks that are no real challenge. You can only save one deck, which discourages experimentation.

Good gameplay mechanics, nice artwork. No annoying in app purchases or ads. Occasionally some of the cards turn up all black.

Great card game! Kill zombies with different weapons from pistols to rifles to axes. Firing a weapon uses action points which replenish each turn. it also uses ammo which does not. Zombies advance though 3 distances advancing 1 closer per turn. The catch is though on the medium distance band you have barricades. Zombies will eventually destroy some barricades and move into close range at which point they start to damage your health. Hit zero and you die. Winning levels rewards you with new cards to customize your deck. Overall top notch game with great art.

The art style is really fun and works well with the game. Make this universal and slap on the ability to make the turns go faster and this will be even better.

5 star game gets 3 stars bc I cant play it on iOS 6!!!!!! What is this? Even unreal engine runs on iOS 6 and earlier!

And waiting and waiting for an iPad version. A game like this is perfect for iPad. I finally broke down bought it for iPhone and I really like it. Its so good. Please make a universal version or iPad version. Ill gladly pay for this game again.
